Sorry to say, but IMHO thats the worst case. For my own part, I cannot upgrade to 2.x due to the high risk of the necessary database conversion, and due to some ancient systems in my environment. Its too hot. And 1.8.11 is no option, either, because there have been tons of bug fixes since then. Do you want to backport all these fixes to 1.8.11, making sure that no new features sneak in? Since code freeze is not announced yet (AFAICS) I would suggest to push Zabbix 1.8.14 into sid asap. I doubt that there are more problems in 1.8.14 than in 1.8.11. I can upgrade your Zabbix 1.8.11 source package for sid to 1.8.14, if you need help? Regards Harri
