Package: kdeadmin Version: 4:4.7.4-2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer, I just installed Debian Wheezy yesterday and when I try to open the printer app in System Settings, the error message shown in the subject is shown. I looked up on Google and found Bug #647839 but it has been resolved/closed.
When I start the system settings app from the CLI and open the printer app, I get: systemsettings(29676)/python (plugin): Failed to import module Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/share/kde4/apps/system-config-printer-kde/system-config-printer-kde.py", line 75, in <module> import authconn File "/usr/share/kde4/apps/system-config-printer-kde/authconn.py", line 25, in <module> import gobject ImportError: No module named gobject systemsettings(29676)/python (plugin): Failed to import module systemsettings(29676)/kcontrol KCModuleLoader::loadModule: This module has no valid entry symbol at all. The reason could be that it's still using K_EXPORT_COMPONENT_FACTORY with a custom X-KDE-FactoryName which is not supported anymore Please let me know if you need further info and I will help.
