Hello I encountered the same issue with Version: mysqld Ver 5.1.61-0+squeeze1 for debian-linux-gnu on x86_64 ((Debian)) Package: mysql-server-core-5.1
The thread_stack value was 192k though it should be 256k on a x86_64 system, following the doc http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/server-system-variables.html#sysvar_thread_stack Thanks for your attention. Regards
