I just[*] called the original unpaper author Jens Gulden ( http://www.uni- siegen.de/fb5/itsec/mitarbeiter/gulden/ ). He said he's ok with us switching to the new upstream fork. He doesn't see himself having time for unpaper in the near future and is looking forward to cooperate with another upstream author when he'll have time again.
