This is what is done in /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libpisock9.rules

jidanni, setting group=dialout for _every_ device is wrong.

Well then something else is wrong.
$ groups
jidanni dialout audio netdev
$ grep -c dialout /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libpisock9.rules
28

What is the output of "lsusb" when you try to synchronize your device?

I need to get the VID/PID of the device so I can check it is present in the file /lib/udev/rules.d/60-libpisock9.rules

Bye
