Package: exim4-daemon-light Version: 4.80-3 Severity: important File: /usr/sbin/exim4
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 All exim interfaces like /usr/bin/mailq, /usr/sbin/sendmail etc fail with the same meaningless message: bjorn@nemi:~$ mailq WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to: /home/bjorn/.cache/keyring-9Ex3Pb/pkcs11: No such file or directory bjorn@nemi:~$ /usr/sbin/sendmail WARNING: gnome-keyring:: couldn't connect to: /home/bjorn/.cache/keyring-9Ex3Pb/pkcs11: No such file or directory Exim is a Mail Transfer Agent. It is normally called by Mail User Agents, not directly from a shell command line. Options and/or arguments control what it does when called. For a list of options, see the Exim documentation. Although the message is labelled "WARNING", the presense of such unwanted output will make client applications fail. Just to add to the fun: I noticed that the reportbug script just failed with the exact same message :-) Please fix or forward. But before forwarding, please note that I do *not* expect any MTA to depend on GNOME or any other desktop environment! This is a bug in itself, and IMHO the real bug here. I expect GNOME to fail ;-) Bjørn - -- Package-specific info: Exim version 4.80 #3 built 08-Jun-2012 11:53:19 Copyright (c) University of Cambridge, 1995 - 2012 (c) The Exim Maintainers and contributors in ACKNOWLEDGMENTS file, 2007 - 2012 Berkeley DB: Berkeley DB 5.1.29: (October 25, 2011) Support for: crypteq iconv() IPv6 GnuTLS move_frozen_messages DKIM Lookups (built-in): lsearch wildlsearch nwildlsearch iplsearch cdb dbm dbmjz dbmnz dnsdb dsearch nis nis0 passwd Authenticators: cram_md5 plaintext Routers: accept dnslookup ipliteral manualroute queryprogram redirect Transports: appendfile/maildir/mailstore autoreply lmtp pipe smtp Fixed never_users: 0 Size of off_t: 8 Configuration file is /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated # /etc/exim4/update-exim4.conf.conf # # Edit this file and /etc/mailname by hand and execute update-exim4.conf # yourself or use 'dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config' dc_eximconfig_configtype='satellite' dc_other_hostnames='nemi.mork.no' dc_local_interfaces='127.0.0.1' dc_readhost='mork.no' dc_relay_domains='' dc_minimaldns='false' dc_relay_nets='' dc_smarthost='"<+ mail.mork.no:587 + smtp.online.no:587 + [::1]:2525"' CFILEMODE='644' dc_use_split_config='true' dc_hide_mailname='true' dc_mailname_in_oh='true' dc_localdelivery='mail_spool' mailname:nemi.mork.no - -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (700, 'stable'), (600, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable-updates'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.5.0-rc2+ (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Versions of packages exim4-daemon-light depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.43 ii exim4-base 4.80-3 ii libc6 2.13-33 ii libdb5.1 5.1.29-1 ii libgnutls26 2.12.19-1 ii libpcre3 1:8.30-5 exim4-daemon-light recommends no packages. exim4-daemon-light suggests no packages. - -- debconf information: exim4-daemon-light/drec: -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk/hflYACgkQ10rqkowbIsmMGQCgiBNIRXYr/wSB6wgfOPv1bZGH 5RsAnRb9WHOHCicZySk4YIXD10c6U8kN =XrvV -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
