While trying to debug Apache2 LDAP Auth (Debian 6 ) I found this:
"ldapsearch -H" can't parse ldap URLs that have baseDn info even the
ones created by ldapurl.
I would advise reading the ldapsearch(1) man page. This is not a bug.
