As said elsewhere, there was already an ITP, and even an RFS. However, I seem to recall having a look at this library, and running away screaming. I believe it was done as part of reviewing something that depended on it, I'm not quite sure anymore.. Nevertheless, I would still like to ask: why? Does anything depend on this, any potential users that couldn't use something simpler?
