Package: debconf Version: 1.4.43 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
First, sorry if this bugs is not a grave problem, but since it seems that debconf can't preconfigure package anymore, it can break installation of packages which are installed/upgraded with this version of debconf, and it could be really serious I think. If it's not grave, please, sorry again and decreas the severity. I upgraded debconf today, then I upgraded some other packages, but preconfiguring fails with this error : String found where operator expected at /usr/sbin/dpkg-preconfigure line 96, near "die sprintf(gettext("" (Might be a runaway multi-line "" string starting on line 94) (Missing semicolon on previous line?)
