I'm happy someone heard my request. Yes, the problem still exists. I'm running k3b 0.12.1 now, and every time the "burning" dialog appears, the load average jumps to 5 or 6, while consuming 60 to 70% of CPU. I suggest a refresh rate of 2 or 3 times per second on the progress bars of this dialog. This would be sufficient. Thanks for forwarding my request to the developpers.
