Package: firmware-iwlwifi Version: 0.35 I lost connectivity with my wifi connection. To fix it, I need to unload and reload the module named 'iwlwifi' with rmmod and modprobe.
Step to reproduce: 1. Open the laptop, and open a user session. 2. The network manager is connecting automatically to the network. At this point, my connection is working as expected. 3. After some period of time, while browsing the web I don't get any respond from the server. 4. Doing a ping to google.com give me an error :Destination Host Unreachable 5. Doing a ping to 192.168.14.1 (this is my router) also give me : Destination Host Unreachable 6. The network manager mark the wireless still connected. Turning on/off the wifi, doesn't fix the problem. Changing the wireless network doesn't fix the problem. 7. Running rmmod iwlwifi followed by modprobe iwlwifi fix the problem.
