The error message caused by unprovileged ntfs-3g mount tells the solution from the upstream documentation, see http://tuxera.com/community/ntfs-3g-faq/#unprivileged Using external fuse in setuid root programs is considered insecure by upstream, so user mount is disabled when compiling with --with-fuse=external.
