there is some time gone thrue the land. The bug is allready open and should be worked up. And the current versions of icedove maybe have fixed the problem. So can you please give some feedback for this bug. Here in my local constellation I can't reproduce the bug with icedove in squeeze and wheezy an amd64. Are the crashes/freezes still around on your installation?
