Package: remuco-rhythmbox Version: 0.9.5-1.1 Severity: grave Tags: upstream Justification: renders package unusable
Dear Maintainer, Remuco plugin does not show up in Plugin list of Rhythmbox and therefore can not be enabled nor used. This is most likely due to fact that new Rhythmbox 2.96+ needs modern .plugin file in /usr/lib/rhythmbox/plugins/remuco/ and not the remuco.rb-plugin. And more to that if you create that file, the plugin fails to load because it seems that the API of Rhythmbox has changed and the plugin in this version is not compatible anymore. Expected behavior: Plugin shows up and works. Ubuntu seems to have the same bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/remuco/+bug/903941 Tomas -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.4.0-rc7 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=cs_CZ.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages remuco-rhythmbox depends on: ii python-gconf 2.28.1+dfsg-1 ii remuco-base 0.9.5-1.1 ii rhythmbox 2.96-5 remuco-rhythmbox recommends no packages. remuco-rhythmbox suggests no packages. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
