I keep updating everyday to debian-sid's latests, and this is coming and going. few months ago, not a single keyboard worked. then it was working just fine, and recently, i got to the state described here, that it works for some shortcuts, but not for others. settings > keyboard > shortcuts everything works as expected. i can create new shortcuts, i can set them to whatever i like. except that it does not seem to respect what the layout options says about the flag (windows) keys. If i configure my layout options so that win keys are meta/hyper/anything. keyboard shortcut windows still shows Super. i have configured: toggle maximization: Super+3, works. lock screen: Super+L. does not work. just types L. custom launcher for /usr/bin/gnome-terminal: Super+T, does not work. just types t. i do not have the workaround of holding the Win key longer as the original reporter said.
