Package: selinux-policy-src
Version: 2:2.20110726-3
Severity: minor

Hi,

in the tarball /usr/src/selinux-policy-src.tar which is shipped by this package
there is a file selinux-policy-src/support/pyplate.pyc which is a byte-compiled
python
file. byte-compiled python files should not be shipped by packages in debian.
Instead,
usually they should use some helper to byte-compile at install time or they
shouldn't
ship byte-compiled files at all. I think, for this package, which mainly is for
reference, it would be correct to not ship the byte-compiled file.

Cheers,

Mika
