/usr/share/doc/pdns-server/examples/pdns.local.bind has the following
to say about the bind-example-zones option.

  # Uncomment to load the 'example.com' zone for testing:
  # bind-example-zones

Actually trying to use bind-example-zones in your configuration
results in the following fatal error

  Fatal error: Trying to set unexisting parameter 'bind-example-zones' 

According to the BindBackend dokumentation the bind-example-zones
option is no longer available as of 2.9.21.
