I've uninstalled both wesnoth-1.8 and wesnoth-1.10, built my own wesnoth 1.10.3 packages (with your latest changes in the debian games git repository) and installed them, and then installed wesnoth-{core,data} 1.8 using debs from snapshot.debian.org. I didn't run into any errors (aside from having to install older boost packages for wesnoth 1.8, which was easily dealt with using apt-get -f install), so I suppose LP: #999378 is fixed now? If you'd like me to do some more testing, I'd be happy to help out! Also, when running wesnoth 1.10, I see the following error message in my console at startup: 20120607 23:52:11 warning font: Failed opening font file 'DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf': No such file or directory Here's a patch to fix this: --- a/debian/rules 2012-06-07 16:13:55.000000000 -0700 +++ b/debian/rules 2012-06-08 00:19:19.598605937 -0700 @@ -133,7 +133,7 @@ do ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/$$i \ debian/wesnoth-$(BRANCH_VERSION)-data/usr/share/games/wesnoth/$(BRANCH_VERSION)/fonts/`basename $$i`; \ done - ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/droid/DroidSansFallback.ttf \ + ln -s /usr/share/fonts/truetype/droid/DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf \ debian/wesnoth-$(BRANCH_VERSION)-data/usr/share/games/wesnoth/$(BRANCH_VERSION)/fonts/DroidSansFallbackFull.ttf # rename icons versioned >> rhonda, if you're too busy to upload wesnoth at the moment, would a >> team upload be all right with you? > > I'll push what I have got so far and in case I won't upload before > the end of the weekend, I guess it makes sense to have it done by > someone else. > > Thanks for mentioning it! > Rhonda > -- > Fühlst du dich mutlos, fass endlich Mut, los | > Fühlst du dich hilflos, geh raus und hilf, los | Wir sind Helden > Fühlst du dich machtlos, geh raus und mach, los | 23.55: Alles auf Anfang > Fühlst du dich haltlos, such Halt und lass los | -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
