I can't do that if the official version isn't updated first, as the license itself does not allow modifications, and this has not happened. Moreover, the GPL version 1 at ftp://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/Licenses still has "675 Mass Ave, Cambridge, MA 02139, USA" as the FSF address, so they apparently do not update "old" licenses (which seems logical to me).
