-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I ran into this problem too. It was frustrating and confusing when I got the error message 'Bad device-uri scheme "socket"' because the documentation clearly says that "socket" is a valid scheme. It was finding this bug report that got me printing.
Before issuing that error message, CUPS should check against a list of common schemes and give a message about enabling the scheme if the scheme is on the list. The list should included any that appear in the CUPS documentation. - -- Liam Morland <l...@morland.ca> Canadian Scout Camps Directory http://Liam.Morland.ca/ http://ScoutDocs.ca/Camps/ PGP Public Key: http://liam.morland.ca/pgp-public-key.asc -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.12 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAk/OrCYACgkQgtUMElSxnje4JACeNsz0dmZHZnjTpscImjRvpFc2 E5QAoMxLGWPMmFxxCDs2wzU1s8UB9/nM =/jqC -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
