Package: gimp
Version: 2.8.0-2
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

Since version 2.8 Gimp has never been able to start and crashes. Its
only output in a console is “Segmentation Fault” (actually, “Erreur de
segmentation” in my french system, even when I manually choose LANG=C).

There is no random, it crashes every time I try to start it.

Running it in a debugger, I got the following information:

$ gdb gimp

With libblas.so.3gf coming from package libatlas3gf-base, so tried
switching to libblas3gf and then got:

So, I am not sure the actual bug is in Gimp, but that is the only
sofware in which I have found crashes, and it seems to be present with
two implementations of BLAS.

Thank you.
