Package: libasound2-plugins Version: 1.0.25-2 Severity: wishlist Dear Maintainer,
please split the PulseAudio plugin for ALSA into a separate package. libpulse in unstable is by now installable in a foreign architecture using multiarch. However, for foreign-arch ALSA-based applications to have any sound on a system using PulseAudio, libasound2-plugins needs to be installed in that architecture as well. This package also contains other plugins not needed for just playing sound through PA, and the dependencies caused by these plugins [1] [2] currently block the package from being installable in a foreign architecture. By splitting the PA plugin into its own package, those problems no longer block using PA on a multiarch system.
