Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.7
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Here is a problem with the /etc/init.d/networking script:

# /etc/init.d/networking stop
[ ok ] Deconfiguring network interfaces...done.
# /etc/init.d/networking start
[....] Configuring network interfaces...ln: unrecognized option '--all-travel'
Try `ln --help' for more information.
done.

Also, when booting the machine, the script complains that it does not
find /var/run/dbus/system_bus_socket (saying "no such file or
directory"). And indeed /etc/init.d/networking is run way before dbus
is started. My file /etc/network/interfaces contains only

auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
