Package: eldav
Version: 0.8.1-5
Severity: wishlist
File: /etc/emacs/site-start.d/50eldav.el

I wonder if 50eldav.el could setup a file-name-handler-alist with
autoloaded `eldav-handler' instead of loading the whole of eldav.el at
startup.

I believe the emacs23 builtin tramp-file-name-handler and
epa-file-handler are done that way. The advantage of course is saving
time and space until relevant remote files are actually accessed.
