No subtests run" is not particularly helpful :/ Playing with the test: BEGIN { use_ok( 'Clutter' ); } eval { Clutter->init(undef) }; warn "Uh-oh: $@" if $@; use_ok works; the eval leads to: ... nothing when I try it again; the first time it complained about init somehow.
