I can confirm that - dracut attempts to ship the xts module: D: Installing /lib/modules/3.2.0-2-amd64/kernel/crypto/xts.ko - the file ends up in the actual image: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root 7144 May 21 20:47 lib/modules/3.2.0-2-amd64/kernel/crypto/xts.ko I'm not using XTS on my volumes.
