Package: jde Version: 2.3.3-2 Severity: important When I open a java file in Emacs, the following complaint appears in the mini-window:
"The wrong version of Semantic is installed, please install 1.4beta13". The java file is subsequently opened in "fundamental" mode, so jde does not work. Debian testing supplies semantic version 1:1.0pre3-1. To check it, I removed jde and semantic with apt-get and re-installed jde. This did not cure the problem. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.24-mywin4lin Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) (ignored: LC_ALL set to [EMAIL PROTECTED]) Versions of packages jde depends on: ii bsh 2.0b4-1 Java scripting environment (BeanSh ii eieio 1:1.0pre3-1 Enhanced Implementation of Emacs I ii elib 1.0-11 Library of commonly-used Emacs fun ii emacs21 [emacsen] 21.4a-1 The GNU Emacs editor ii java-common 0.23 Base of all Java packages ii semantic 1:1.0pre3-1 Parser Infrastructure for Emacsen ii speedbar-beta 1:1.0pre3-1 Transitional package Versions of packages jde recommends: pn ecb <none> (no description available) ii jdk1.1 [java-compiler] 1.1.8v3-1 Blackdown Java(TM) Development Kit ii jre1.1 [java-virtual-machine] 1.1.8v3-1 Blackdown Java(TM) Runtime Environ ii kaffe-pthreads [java-compiler 2:1.1.5-3 A POSIX threads enabled version of -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
