Salut Thierry Thanks a lot for your response and your update to the patch!
The failure you report is interesting, indeed. I've tried with a minimum recovery CD myself (excluded all files, booted in expert), and didn't see a problem, neither on a Sarge nor on a Sid system, e.g. grep started fine using the libc6 from the /lib/tls directory. How did things fail for you? As far as your patch is concerned, I'd generally be happy to just use it if it works (which I believe it does). However, I'd rather see one single command and not a sequence of four. Do you think you could do that? (You may call me anal but you may also check bug #222052 for the same line of argumentation. ;-) ) Best regards Andree On Wed, 2005-10-05 at 02:23 +0200, thierry lathuille wrote: > Hello Andree and everyone, > > > A difference to the old behaviour is in both cases that only > >libraries in tls are returned (if this is what ldd reports) and not the > >non-tls counterparts.
