Package: fwsnort Version: 1.5-2.1 Severity: normal Tags: patch In fwsnort, psad and fwknop are since the Perl transition deprecation error messages when the service starts up. This doesn't look pretty to boot a Debian server with these packages installed. The maintainer is probably MIA and this has been reported. This issue is however already fixed upstream in the 1.6.2 release of fwsnort; http://packages.qa.debian.org/f/fwsnort.html
I'm asking your help to assist in packaging these packages, I'm still a novice at packaging so I could use some experienced help. FYI: Debian will freeze in one month, so there isn't much time. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.utf8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.utf8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages fwsnort depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.43 ii iptables 1.4.13-1.1 ii libiptables-parse-perl 1.1-1 ii libnetwork-ipv4addr-perl 0.10.ds-2 ii perl 5.14.2-9 Versions of packages fwsnort recommends: ii snort-rules-default 2.9.2-3 fwsnort suggests no packages. -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
