The latest stable release of Compiz is 0.8.8, while the current debian version is 0.8.4-5.1, so I don't know how much sympathy there would be from the Compiz people. Anyone know how it is that debian _unstable_ is a couple of years and four minor releases behind upstream? Is this ultimately a bug in the Qt libraries?
