Package: dpkg-dev Version: 1.16.3 Severity: wishlist It would be nicer if the debian-changes or debian-changes-version files that are created by dpkg-source automatically had a .patch (or .diff?) extension, so that editors and other tools knew how to deal with them automatically. It's generally nicer if all files have a useful extension for easier identification.
I don't know whether it's possible to introduce this in a backward compatible way, but if it is, please consider it. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
