In my ~/.config/mc/ini editor_option_save_mode=0 When I set it to '=2' mcedit unable to save. However I'm not sure if it is a behaviour change but successful migration of configuration or if this is a problem with config migration itself. Did you have "editor_option_save_mode=2" before update? If so what this option is for? I'm not sure how to tell upstream developers about it. Thanks.
