Package: debian-handbook Version: 6.0+20120509 Severity: minor Hi again Raphaƫl, I've just finished reading chapters 2 and 3: I am here sending a list of corrections and improvements, grouped by relevant section, as usual.
Those two chapters are not too long and are in a good shape: my bug report is therefore rather short! Section 2.3. Why a GNU/Linux Distribution? ------------------------------------------ | among with are the programs developed by the GNU Project. I am not sure about this, but it looks like a possible typo: shouldn't it be s/among with/among which/ ? | This price includes any possible license, I think it would be more precise to say + This price includes any possible license fee, | a number which obviously depend Typo? s/depend/depends/ Section 3.2.3. Taking Over an Existing Debian Server ---------------------------------------------------- | If it indicates testing/unstable, it means that the system was | updated with packages coming from one of these two development | distributions. Mmmmh, I run a Debian testing system and I have: $ cat /etc/debian_version wheezy/sid Hence, I think that the above-quoted sentence should be fixed to say: + If it indicates <codename>/sid, it means that the system was + updated with packages coming from one development distribution + (either testing or unstable). -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
