Yes, Alexander uploaded a couple of tarballs with ver. 0.6.2. Unfortunately, there are a few problems with them: kbdd-0.6.2.tar.gz is missing a few necessary files and FTBFS, and kbdd-0.6.2.tar.bz2 is full of cruft like broken symlinks, binaries, git history, unused source files, etc., so that a repack is likely required. Besides these misfortunate things, the code base of 0.6.2 is equivalent to 0.6 with the patches that are currently in the Debian package.
