Thanks for the heads-up.
Raphael (and anyone else experiencing this), please try running thinkfan in 
Dangerous mode (-D). This makes it more error tolerant, but bear in mind that 
this also applies to misconfiguration. Otherwise, -D does not change the 
behaviour, it only affects error handling, so if you change your config, test 
it without -D before relying on it. If that doesn't work, I might add a 
workaround for this OS/driver/HW bug.
