Package: parallel Version: 20120422-1 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I typed: [1+0]~$ parallel echo ::: foo bar I got this message on the terminal, not followed by any prompt (so in fact I believe parallel was reading args from stdin as usual): parallel: Input is read from the terminal. Only experts do this on purpose. Press CTRL-D to exit. According to the manpage, I should have seen something more like this: foo bar [2+0]~$ -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 3.3.4-custom (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages parallel depends on: ii perl 5.14.2-9 ii perl-modules 5.14.2-9 parallel recommends no packages. parallel suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
