Hi, My setup is somewhat similar as my root partition is also on a RAID1 array with two disks. GRUB is installed on both of them. This is just to note that I did not reproduce the reported problem when I recently upgraded from 1.99-17 to 1.99-21. The upgrade went on swiftly as always.
