With the move of /var/run to /run (and associated use of volatile memory), the permissions on /run/spamass are not set correctly on reboot: drwxr-xr-x. 2 root root 100 May 2 17:29 spamass/ SInce spamass-milter runs under the "spamass-milter" user, it can't write its PID to that directory, resulting in lots of log entries like May 2 15:06:05 tinkerbell sm-mta[7356]: q42J65jq007356: Milter (spamassassin): local socket name /var/run/spamass/spamass.sock unsafe May 2 15:06:05 tinkerbell sm-mta[7356]: q42J65jq007356: Milter (spamassassin): to error state ... and spamass-milter is not running.
