Install ktorrent-dbg and post a backtrace from kde debug dialog. If it does not appear when ktorrent crashes, you might need to use gdb manually. This could be http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=609817 (i.e. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=297755 )
