Package: kmod Version: 6-2 Severity: important In bug #670950, the submitter was alarmed to see a warning about missing modules.builtin in linux-image-3.1.0-1-686-pae. This bug doesn't affect current Linux kernel packages. But modules.builtin was only introduced in Linux 2.6.33 and therefore packages from squeeze do not include it (and this will not be fixed).
In order to support partial upgrades, kmod should not emit this warning when the kernel version it's looking at it is < 2.6.33. This version check can of course be removed after the wheezy release.
