Yes, please do it: gitit would really benefit from it. It really amounts to adding this line in debian/rules: DEB_GHC_EXTRA_PACKAGES := pandoc (>= $(CABAL_VERSION)) This way, all packages that need pandoc data will automatically have it in ${haskell:Extra-Depends}, without having to list it manually.
