Since there was no response for almost two month: Do you think it
would be possible?

There are three things which should/could be done:
a) Get the German man page translation out
b) Finish the remaining reported typos as noted in 646173
c) Discuss the (few) bigger issues.

This is also the order of importance. If the po4a team does not have
time I'm willing to prepare an NMU for a) (only), however, beeing
only a DM I would need a sponsor.

If there is limited time, maybe b) could be dealt with as well (the
impact on translations is either nill or very low).

Once the team has time again, we could approach c), if this doesn't
make Wheezy it would not be too bad (although I'm still remotly hoping
;-)).

Yes. I'm open for questions if there should be any issues (left). Also
regarding my listed typos and the above list.
