Hi Shirish, thanks for your error report on running MegaGlest on a mixed Debian stable/testing/unstable system with G33 chipset (integrated GMA3100 with max 256 MB shared RAM and support for OpenGL 1.4) on Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64.
I'm not the package maintainer but an upstream supporter, trying to help you sort a few things out before you can possibly get a more dedicated reply based on the backtrace you submitted. Your system is on the edge of what's documented as minimum requirements at http://readme.megaglest.org - (a possibly earlier version of) this file should also included in the package in /usr/share/docs/megaglest/. Please ensure your system has 256 MB graphics memory available. The amount of system memory allocated to graphics processing should be listed in the output of this command, when run as root: sudo lspci -kvnn | fgrep -A 12 VGA Example: Memory at e0000000 (64-bit, prefetchable) [size=256M] How much system memory do you have available before running MegaGlest? free -m|awk '/^-\/\+ buffers\/cache:/ {print $4" MB"}' should tell. You may want to reconfigure MegaGlest according to http://glest.org/glest_board/index.php?topic=7858.msg79367#msg79367 or try to enable texture compression (this would require non-free software to be installed, though).
