* What led up to the situation? I started xsane * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I typed 'xsane' at the comment prompt. * What was the outcome of this action? Segmentation fault (core dumped) * What outcome did you expect instead? For xsane to work. I too have an HP scanner. Mine is F4272.
