The issue, however, is that the trace file is required for every
mirror. Since you also need to perform a two-stages sync, it is easier
to just use ftpsync: you only need to setup the config files and then
run it.

Using ftpsync also makes it easy for us to know how the mirror is
syncing.

If you do decide to continue using rsync, please make sure you follow the
requirements stated at:
http://www.debian.org/mirror/ftpmirror#how

The debian-archive mirror is still missing a trace file.

This can easily be changed as soon as your mirror is available over
IPv6. Just send us an email.

Your website states it is updated every four hours, but according to
the trace file the main archive took about six hours to sync.
