Package: popfile Version: 0.22.2-2 Severity: normal
At first install, popfile crashed as soon as port 7071 hit by mail client or even nmap. Looking at log indicated that a sqlite lib "might be required" Checked dpkg -l and saw had sqlite lib but not server. After installing sqlite, still crashed at same point Theorized that at install it had been unable to create its databases absent a complete sqlite, so uninstalled and reinstalled. Works now. Cool program. Probably just needs a dependence to sqlite. Or just a more informative message in the log. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-1-k7 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=ANSI_X3.4-1968) Versions of packages popfile depends on: ii adduser 3.67 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf 1.4.58 Debian configuration management sy ii libdbd-sqlite2-perl 2:0.33-4 Perl DBI driver with a self-contai ii libhtml-tagset-perl 3.04-1 Data tables pertaining to HTML ii libhtml-template-perl 2.6-2 HTML::Template : A module for usin ii libsoap-lite-perl 0.60-2 Client and server side SOAP implem ii libtimedate-perl 1.1600-5 Time and date functions for Perl ii perl 5.8.7-3 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction popfile recommends no packages. -- debconf information: popfile/uilocal: true popfile/popport: 7071 popfile/backupcorpus: true popfile/poplocal: true popfile/uiport: 7070 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
