I had this problem time to time, but since the last(I think) kernel update the things are getting worse. At the begining I was thinking that some application is not responding so this may cause the slow system speed. Later I checked the log and I saw that the kernel log is full of noise floor calibration messages that keep popping every 2 seconds. This causes some package dropping and super slow computer speed. It makes the computer almost unusable...
