like Arno and Sandro, I would love to participate in this project. I have been running and deploying Apache installations for something around 7 years now and also have some experience in Debian packaging, mostly for local repositories but also conforming with Debian policies. I have spent some time in Ubuntu bug wrangling and as a user as well, if that comes in helpful, although I didn't really do a lot there because I didn't like it much. What I am up to is of yourse help maintain the Apache packaging, learn more about its internals and find my way to become a Debain Maintainer some time by first joining an active and friendly team.
