Package: libglib2.0-0 Version: 2.32.0-3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable + possible data loss from the shell
After upgrading to libglib2.0-0 2.32.0-2 or 2.32.0-3, emacs freezes in terminal mode (e.g. with "emacs -nw" or via ssh without X forwarding) and takes 100% CPU. Ctrl-G has no effect; it is not possible to quit (or kill) from the terminal. This occurs at least with xterm and gnome-terminal. If emacs is killed (e.g. with the kill command from another terminal), the typed characters are transmitted to the shell. There is no such problem with libglib2.0-0 2.30.2-6. -- System Information: Debian Release: wheezy/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.2.0-2-amd64 (SMP w/2 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=POSIX, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages libglib2.0-0:amd64 depends on: ii libc6 2.13-27 ii libffi5 3.0.10-3 ii libpcre3 1:8.30-4 ii libselinux1 2.1.9-4 ii multiarch-support 2.13-27 ii zlib1g 1:1.2.6.dfsg-2 Versions of packages libglib2.0-0:amd64 recommends: ii libglib2.0-data 2.32.0-2 ii shared-mime-info 0.90-1 libglib2.0-0:amd64 suggests no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
