Package: perl-tk
Version: 1:804.027-1
Severity: wishlist

As it stands, a Tk::Table seems to be always minimally sized even if it gets packed in to a larger space. The _table_ covers the entire area but the cells within it do not expand to use the entire region. Thus, all the data appear at the left side with a blank space to the right.

It would be nice to have a -fill => "x" option (or "y" or "both") within the table options that would automatically grow the individual cells on a per-rata basis to fill the entire area.

Alternatively, some way to set the packing options per embedded widget would probably work, too.
